For the 2008 Q4 fiscal report, all of Sony’s gaming console’s dominated the three month period. The PS2 did the best with 166 million units sold. The PS3 came in at 152 million sold. Next, came the Xbox 360 with 128 million sold and the Wii with only 71 million games sold. This means that overall including the PSP, Sony accounted for 61% of the EA market!

Skate 2 coming to PS3
EA has told us that the PS3 is getting a new title, Skate 2, to be the sequel to the highly rated game, Skate. This is not the same game coming to the Wii that uses the balance board for Wii Fit to skate. At the moment no further information is available at this time.
With the US release next week the Playstation Blog has revealed the official compatability list. Most of the current and future games are included. However, there has been one big surprise. They have announced that games that have rumble with carry the new logo for Dualshock 3! Don’t we expect all new releases to include rumble anyway, so what’s the point? Madden 09 announced for PS3!
That’s right the next installment of the popular series has been announced! It will also be released on PSP, PS2, DS, Xbox 360, Wii and on mobile phones. However, lets hope it’s alot better than last year’s game with poor framerates and terrible online lag.
