PSN Store Finally Updated!

That’s right the EU store has been updated a day late.  This comes after news that we thought there would be no update this week as the store wasn’t update on the usual day yesterday, Thursday.  The update is quite good but nothing spectacular.  Here’s what we got:

  • Unreal Tournament 3 Maps (Free)
  • Euro 2008 Demo (Free)
  • Turok Maps (GBP 1.99)
  • GtT5: Prologue (GBP 24.99 we reccomend that you buy the Blu-Ray disc as it is cheaper, has more content and you can trade it in when GT5 comes out!)
  • Eye of Judgement “Bio Rebellion” Card Set (GBP 6.99)
  • Reel Fishing PSOne Game (GBP 3.49)
  • Various Trailers

Ubisoft delays 3 PS3 title past April 08

Yeah, you read it right, Ubisoft has delayed 3 more titles until April to finish the glitchs and polish it up.  This also gives them a lower development cost and an even bigger fiscal 07 where Assassins Creed is due to sell over 5 million copies before the end of the fiscal year in April.  The titles effected are Tom Clancy’s EdWar, Far Cry 2 and Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway.  This could be good news, it means that we will not get a game that is buggy and terrible like we had in Assassins Creed, we will hopefully get nice smooth gameplay!  The second piece of good news is that it gives them more time to fifnish the highly awaited Haze, which has already been delayed many times before.  The other Ubisoft title that is currently in the works is Rainbow Six Vegas 2, which according to this news is still on target for its early, 2008 release date!

Happy New Year! And here’s to a great 2008 for the PS3!
