Firmware 2.35 is now available to download. At the moment, the only update it brings is to ‘improve the gameplay of some PS3 titles’. Does this mean GTA IV? We will keep you posted on the update as more details are released.
For the 2008 Q4 fiscal report, all of Sony’s gaming console’s dominated the three month period. The PS2 did the best with 166 million units sold. The PS3 came in at 152 million sold. Next, came the Xbox 360 with 128 million sold and the Wii with only 71 million games sold. This means that overall including the PSP, Sony accounted for 61% of the EA market!
That’s right, the once believable Game Trailers, has now lost its complete credibility after it used PS3 footage instead of Xbox 360 screens for a comparison video of the upcoming game, GRID. Game Trailers has now removed the video and ALL comments relating to the ‘mistake’ on their forums. It’s your choice if the know 360 fanboy site owned by a Microsoft partener, video was just an error or another attemp to destory the PS3!
Burnout Paradise will be getting an update soon. It has been announced that the developers are working on a new patch of the PS3 version. It will include 1080i compatibility. No more features have been announced so stay tuned!
