Early Haze Reviews

  • IGN (45/100) – “While their previous work was quite excellent, Haze is anything but, coming across as a middling, generic first-person shooter with bland visuals, a weak plot and laughable characters.”
  • GamersHell (65/100) – “Haze is still sitting in the wake of Call of Duty 4, and falls into that category of being just another FPS. The game tries to include different content with Nectar abilities and rebel dynamics, but a confused story, lacking gameplay elements and technical bugs bog the game down from being a stellar PS3 exclusive.”
  • The A.V. Club (C+) – “More narratively cohesive than the Halo trilogy, but less inventive and compelling than Resistance: Fall Of Man … too bad it’s paired with one of the more pedestrian FPS games to come along in recent years.”

These early results are certainly bad for a PS3 game.  Seeing these, I have been put off by the terrible ratings!  What about you?

PS3 covered with Swarovski Crystals goes on E-Bay!

A 60GB PS3 has been put onto E-Bay claiming thatr when purchased it will sent to Swarovski to be covered it crystals. Then, the buyer will get to talk to the designer to get the look that you want. Now, for the price, the auction starts at 32,000 pounds and has a buy-it-now price at 70,000. At the moment, there are no bids for the item.

I believe the auction is fake. It seems it could be just a normal 40 GB PS3 with maybe a few less-expensive crystals glued on. However, the seller does have perfect feedback and has other items available with Swarovski crystals.

UPDATE*The auction describes the PS3 to have the same processor as the Nintendo GameCube!*UPDATE
